Hello everyone and welcome to the past.  This site is dedicated to the owner of The Games Arena's favourite consoles the Sega Mega CD and the 3DO.  Hope you enjoy the site and here is a little introduction.

3DO - The console was released in October 1993, and was the power of the Playstation.  Unfortunately it had a high price (I myself exchanged 3 consoles just to get one) and was badly marketed with little advertising, and what they did use didn't show off the 3do.  The final nail in the coffin was letting other companies make there console (Sanyo, Goldstar etc) meaning 3do competed with itself.  But now is the time to get one it is reasonably priced and the games range from a couple of pounds try it you'll like it

MEGA CD - The console was released in October 1991 and was followed by the less smart Mega CD 2 a year later.  Unfortunately it had a fairly high price tag although people did save up and get one, but it was the game releases that killed the Mega CD the games were released months apart and gamers got tired of waiting for the next release and when it came if it was poor they had to wait another couple of months for the next one.  This didn't sit well especially after such a good advertising campaign with regular adverts and video promos.  But now it is time to get one it can be picked up cheaply and the games can also be very cheap some just 50p - £1 try it you'll like it.
