Some new exciting news has just come in from Gamespot here is the report and a summary at the bottom

We got a chance to play the latest build of Smackdown! Just Bring It, which is arguably the most widely anticipated video game sequel to be released this year. Running through the menus, we checked out the huge assortment of match types available, including Hell in a Cell matches, TLC matches, three Stages of Hell matches, and Slobberknockers. You have a great amount of control over how each match is set up: You can set up four-way dances, six-man tags, and so on, and you can add managers as well. Included also are the create-a-wrestler and create-a-taunt features that showcase the customizability that, along with the kitschy story mode, are the hallmarks of the Smackdown! franchise.

While most sports games make use of flat, inanimate bitmaps for their crowds, those in Smackdown! Just Bring It! are animated, waving signs and flags emphatically as they cheer for their favorite superstar. If so compelled, you can even take the action into the audience's domain, and the security guards in yellow shirts usher the fans aside as you pummel your foe in the stands. While not the most impressive of crowds as we've seen in other games (like NHL Hitz' fully polygonal audience), it's still an impressive effect. The limitations of the graphics engine, however, won't hamper your ability to suspend disbelief and enjoy the very cinematic presentation.

The superstar animations were as impressive as we've seen in any modern wrestling game. Taunt animations, like Lita's top-rope pointing crowd-appeasement or The Rock's hands-on-the-waist stare-down have been included and are a pleasure to behold. But as fun as it was taunting our opponents, it was much more enjoyable to get the actual matches going. The sheer number of different move techniques that we were able to pull off was astounding. Using the defensive button--used much like the counters in the Dead or Alive series--nearly any strike or grapple technique can be reversed and capitalized upon, both to avoid taking damage and for improved positioning. Holds and counterholds flow seamlessly together and duplicate what we'd expect from these athletes during a real match. Superstars will put each other in arm bars, execute standing switches, and block then counterpunch in that way that only pro wrestlers can pull off believably. The fighting is still based on timing and proper judgment of range.

We've always been impressed with the Smackdown! series' attempt to bring the drama and storyline of the televised broadcasts to life during matches, and Smackdown! Just Bring It surpasses any previous attempt at wrestling realism. Wrestler ring entrances will be more of a flashy, drawn-out affair than ever before, complete with Titantron overlay, authentic theme music, and well-done renditions of the superstars' actual gestures and mannerisms. The Rock climbs the ring posts before a match and brings the crowd to an uproar with his raised fist and signature eyebrow. The entrance sequences are still a bit early in their development, though, and are not as polished as we're sure the final versions will be. Pyrotechnics and the Titantron display haven't been implemented yet, although the inclusion of a number of well-done stage backdrops and television broadcast overlays help create a legitimate and believable atmosphere.

Yuke's has made some incredible feature changes that will no doubt change the experience that Smackdown! games can produce. There's a referee in the ring, and the way that the ref's presence takes a role in the action adds immeasurably to the genuine feel of the matches. In one match, when a run-in brought Matt Hardy out to our player-controlled Lita's defense, we watched in awe as after a timely dropkick, the ref walked Matt to the corner and began to argue with him and tell him to exit the ring. Matt then pointed, shrugged his shoulders, and gestured believably, which the ref answered with the frequently used fist-slapping-palm articulation of an illegal move. The ref then pointed outside of the ring and continued to shout at Matt, who seemed to belligerently refuse to leave, challenging the ref's authority. Fed up, the ref then reared back and socked Matt a good one across the mouth, causing Matt to spin around into the corner. The ref then continued to officiate the match. Very neat stuff.

Managers are available in Smackdown! 2, but in this version they now serve a purpose other than as a silent tag-team partner who sneaks in techniques. We were also able to see Trish Stratus, managing ringside for Albert, climb onto the ring apron and distract the ref's attention with her enormous comments. The ref, suitably distracted, was unable to notice the extremely long pin attempt that Kane was executing on Albert in futility. Using the ref as a tool for victory not only follows the traditional televised antics but also is a lot of fun in execution.

We had a lot of fun with this early build but were also quick to note that many of the features we were really looking forward to checking out haven't been properly implemented. The commentary by Michael Cole and Tazz was very sketchy; some of the blow-by-blow commentary was right on the money, though there were just as many repetitious and downright incorrect calls. Being annoyed by the announcers can be gratifying, however, as at any time you can rush the announcer's table and slap a DDT on Michael Cole for his troubles. We're hoping that more of the nonspecific color commentary will be added, as this is one of the most promising features to look forward to.

We're extremely excited to see how Smackdown! Just Bring It shapes up. The story mode is supposedly going to be deeper and more immersive than ever, while the in-ring action is as fun as its fast-paced predecessors. We're hoping to bring you the latest, as soon as we're able to dive into the story mode, multiplayer, and create-a-wrestler functions that haven't yet been fully implemented. Check out our huge array of screens and movies, and stay tuned for more in the weeks to come.

Some new exciting news has just come in read and get very very excited

Commentary

As You Have Noticed From The Past Smackdown Games Commentary Has Been Missing. Well THQ Have Decided To Finally Add This Lifelike Feature Into Smackdown: JBI. As Of Now The Commentary Is Confirmed To Be Performed By Only Michael Cole, And Tazz. The Commentators Are Confirmed To Be 3D, And Fully Functionable. The Commentating Will Be Very Realistic. Also The Commentators Will Not Keep Saying The Same Thing Over And Over For Example Michael Cole Will Not Keep Saying Oh What A Body Slam. Commentary will Play A Big Part Of The Game. They Have Gone Long Enough Without It In Their Past Games, So They Have Decided That This Will Be In The Game Along With Many Other Spectacular Features.

He has also said that the following wrestlers are now in the game according to the magazine;

Tajiri
Justin Credible
X-Pac (I don't know why he wasn't on original list)
Jerry Lynn

It also says that there is a big possibility of Rob Van Dam and Tommy Dreamer making it in to the game.

Season Mode

Many WWF Fans Have Been Wanting More In A WWF Game. So That's Why THQ Have Made A Major Improvement To The Season Mode In Smackdown: JBI. They Have Announced That There Will Be Many Voiceovers In The Game, But They Have Also Said That Not Everyone Will Talk. The Season In Smackdown: JBI Revolves Mainly Around Your Wrestler. The Cutscenes Are The Way Better Than Before. There Will Not Be Any Stupid Cutscenes Like One That Says "Benoit Is Here". The Best Part Is That They Don't Keep Showing The Same Cutscene Over, And Over Again Because That's Gets Annoying. Injuries Can Take Place In, And Out Of The Ring In Season Mode. You Can Injure A Superstar In Many Different Ways. For Example If You Work On A Certain Part Of The Body Like The Neck, And Then Do A Crippler Crossface Then You Could Break Your Opponents Neck, And They Would Be Out Of Action For A Couple Months. THQ Is Working On The Falling Off The Stage Feature Now. This Is Going To Be Yet Another Great Improvement In The Game. The Stage, And All Of The Other Backstage Areas Will Be Fully Interactive Which Means You Can Use Almost Everything As A Weapon. You Can Use Many Different Things To Get An Advantage In A Match, And Distracting The Ref Is Only One Of Them. You Can Use Anything From Tables To Moving Cars. THQ Is Trying To Make The WWF Fans Happy. They Are Trying To Pack Everything That They Can Into This Game Just To Satisfy The Fans.

Looks like this game is getting better and better.

Entrances

Well Here Lately There Has Been A lot Of Talk About How Entrances Will Be In Smackdown: JBI For The Sony Playststion 2 System. Sanders Keel Has Promised All Of The WWF Fans Full Intos, And He Said That This Is Confirmed. Now It Has Been Said That You Can Talk During Your Entrance Like Y2J Chris Jericho Does In His Entrance A lot Lately.
As Of Now There Are Full Intros As Well As Outros. THQ Is Working On Having Different Kinds Of Outros Like Walking Out Through The Crowd, Or Just Leaving Up The Ramp. The Tag-Team, And Triple-Team Intos Will Be As Lifelike As Possible. The Music In The Game Is Full Length. The Titantrons Are Also Being Improved. Since This Game Is On A DVD-Rom Disc You Can Bet That The Media Like The Music, And The Titantrons Are Perfect.

Here is the latest sanders keel interview taken from wgzone.com so check out this latest interview and enjoy reading it my summary are at the bottom in yellow

General Questions

WGZ: Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule for this interview. How are you?
Sanders: Pretty good, pretty busy and just plain pretty. Thanks for asking Ryan, hope all is well with you.

WGZ: How are the games coming along? Have you run into any problems while in development so far?
Sanders: Well the PS2 is very difficult to develop for but things are getting ironed out. As always there is so much to do and so little time. But these games are coming along nicely.

WGZ: Would you say your job is more on the fun/easy side, the tiring/hard side, or a little bit of both?
Sanders: It is definitely both. Of course it is more fun than anything though. I mean come on, we are making games. I am fortunate to have such a great job.

General Questions About All WWF Games

WGZ (Jurelle): Hey WGZone and Sanders, I was wondering that since your WWF games will feature all new details, will you do the little things that old WWF games like Royal Rumble for Super NES. Like when you run and hit the ref he would get knocked out for a while, and if you do this (please do) will it turn the match into anything goes until the ref gets up? If you use a weapon on a wrestler in a singles match will you be DQ'ed?
Sanders: RAW IS WAR will not implement the interactive referee, however SmackDown: JBI will have a referee that will act like a real ref. Don't get caught using a weapon. You might have to have Trish distract him.

WGZ (Ryan): 1.) Will Wrestlers be able to hold multiple titles? 2.) Will there be voice-overs?
Sanders: 1.) Yes. 2.) Some.

WGZ (Muckel): How sweet will the double team moves be? How many will there be, and from what situations?
Sanders: We are working to increase the double team moves and add some triple team moves.

WGZ (Tom Foster): Is Tazz in any of the new games as a wrestler?
Sanders: Of course. He will be selectable in both games.

Smackdown!: Just Bring It Questions

WGZ (Y2Jisthegame): 1.) Will there be multiple costumes? 2.) Will you be able to interact with the announcers, like hit them and fight w/ them? 3.) Will you be able to do any moves through a table from any direction rather than having to go on top of it?
Sanders: 1.) You know it! 2.) Oh yeah! 3.) This is being worked on and should be improved.

WGZ (Andrew T.): 1.) Will the weapons be more effective than before? 2.) Will you be able to reverse special moves (e.g. Walls of Jericho, Rock Bottom, Chokeslam)? 3.) Will all the latest entrance music be in? Undertakers 'rollin', HHH's 'The Game'?
Sanders: 1.) Maybe....maybe...yes. 2.) It will be possible but hard. 3.) Good question. This is a license issue. If we CAN use them, then we will. Thanks.

WGZ (Raymond Schaefer): What is the situation on loading in the game? Will the loading take forever? Are you trying to improve the loading times?
Sanders: The loading will be a lot better, I promise.

WGZ (Brandon Troutman): 1.) Will the move animations in SD: JBI be different than that in SD2 (i.e., more impact, a total animation instead of two moves put together like the osaka stunner)? 2.) Will the feature where you can name your created wrestler's finisher and trademark be back? 3.) Will the Edit-A-Wrestler be full (like originally planned for SD!2, partial (like No Mercy), or none at all like Smackdown 2?
Sanders: 1.) The animations have improved. The new framerate is 60 frames per second and make the moves look a whole lot better as well. 2.) Yeah baby yeah. 3.) Most likely partial.

WGZ (Elliot Ness): 1.) I noticed at E3, you guys said the gameplay was identical to smackdown 2. Has there been any change since then? 2.) Will the enterance ramp be interactive? Like throwing someone off the stage or climbing the titantron like Shane McMahon?
Sanders: 1.) The gameplay isn't identical. There are many little improvements that make a huge difference this time around. 2.) Other than wrestling on it, not really. But the wrestling on it is cool.

WGZ (Tim): Will crowd chants be in the game, like the ones that were in WWF Attitude from back in the day? What about wrestler voice-overs and their trademark sayings?
Sanders: There will be a more intelligent crowd this time around. They will react according to the match progression and will have certain chants. As far as being like Attitude, I certainly hope they turn out better.

1. The ref is fully interactive and can be distracted and attacked & you will get disqualified for using weapons.

2. There are loads of double team moves and triple team moves.

3. There are multiple costumes.

4. The announcers are interactive and can be beaten up.

5. Weapons will hurt wrestlers more.

6. Moves can be reversed but it will be tough.

7. You can name create-a-wrestler's finishers and trademark moves.

8. Crowd chants have been improved.

SOURCE: PSW

I suggest to everybody to go and get PSW magazine it has a 8 page spread on WWF SMACKDOWN 3: JUST BRING IT and Footage from the game below are some pictures from the video and highlights from the magazine and my personal comments in yellow, the pictures don't do the game footage SO GO GET IT WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR

Only 43 wrestlers have been confirmed here is a list of who's in and who's out

IN - The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H, The Undertaker, Kurt Angle, Kane, Chris Jericho, Big Show, Rikishi, Chris Benoit, Edge, Christian, Buh Buh Ray Dudley, D-Von Dudley, Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, Lita, The One Billy Gunn, Chyna, Steven Richards, The Goodfather, Ivory, Grand Master Sexay, Scotty 2 Hotty, Hardcore Holly, Crash Holly, Dean Malenko, Perry Saturn, Eddy Guerrero, Faarooq, Bradshaw, Test, Albert, Trish Stratus, Michael Cole, Vince McMahon, Stephine McMahon, Shane McMahon & Earl Hebner

NEW ADDICTIONS - William Regal, Raven & Molly Holly

OUT - Mankind/Mick Foley, Al Snow, Steve Blackman, The Kat & Essa Rios

I just hope there is there faces as well as there clothes, otherwise it will be pointless to bother creating them

But don't worry if there not in the game they are there to create in the create a wrestler section.  There is improved pain on the faces of wrestlers, also the big thing is in the SMACKDOWN ARENA Michael Cole and Tazz commentate, in the RAW IS WAR ARENA Jim Ross and Paul Heyman commentate. The reason for less wrestlers is 1. BECAUSE IT TAKES PILES MORE TO CREATE A SUPER PS2 LIKENESSES 2. NOBODY EVER PLAYED VISCERA OR ESSA RIOS SO NO LOSS THERE

This is unfortunate because everybody likes a blast with the lesser know characters

The referee can be beaten up as you can see below, because you can have a 6 man tag team match, with the ref as well and interferance.  ENTRANCES YOU CAN NOW WALK TO THE RING, but your opponent can attack you before you reach the ring

This is one of the most exciting features, as everybody wanted more realistic entrances like in WWF Attitude

New match types announced are TLC BATTLE TAG MATCHES, 2 OR 3 HANDICAP MATCHES, KING OF THE RING TOURNAMENTS, TRIPLE THREATS, FALLS ANYWHERE, CAGE, HELL IN A CELL, SUBMISSION ONLY etc

This is very exciting because just imagine THE DUDLEY BOYZ VS THE HARDY BOYZ VS EDGE & CHRISTIAN in a TRIPLE TEAM TLC MATCH WWWWWWWOOOOOWWWWWW

NOW FOR THOSE SCREENSHOTS

Look At The Rock and Arena what detail

Look at the amount of ladders in this ring and the height of the back ones WWWOOOWWW

The Ref is now in the game and surprise surprise Stone Cold has taken him out

ACCLAIM have announced a new wrestling game set to rock the PLAYSTATION 2 and GAMECUBE here is the official press release from www.acclaimnation.com

Acclaim announces Legends of Wrestling, where classic wrestling personalities face off.

At E3 2001, Acclaim announced its upcoming wrestling game, Legends of Wrestling. What separates Legends from other current wrestling games is its exclusive licensing of the greatest wrestling personalities of yesteryear.

You'll be able to grapple with the likes of Bret "The Hitman" Hart, Jerry "The King" Lawler, "Superfly" Jimmy Snuka, "Macho Man" Randy Savage, "The Ugandan Giant" Kamala, Terry Funk, George "The Animal" Steele, and many more. Each wrestler is accompanied by interactive entrance routines, crowd responses, and authentic taunts. A total of 30 old-school wrestlers will be available for competition in the more than 12 types of matches, which include barbed wire, scaffold, and special referee bouts.

Fans will also recognize the men behind the commentary--Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and Captain Lou Albano will be on hand to provide in-depth match analysis and career guidance. Legends of Wrestling will feature a TV-broadcast-style presentation, rife with shifting camera angles and cutscenes. In addition, you'll be able to experiment with create-a-wrestler and create-a-stable modes. Currently in development, Legends of Wrestling will be released later this year for both the PlayStation 2 and the GameCube.

So it seems we will have a game with the legends of wrestling in it which should be great here is a section we are doing on it

REPORTER: NEIL COOPER

SOURCE: WWFWrestlingGames.com

Today on WWFWrestlingGames.com with Sanders Keel, the Head Producer of THQ joined them for an interview saying there is NO BLOOD, NO INFERNO and more. Full Credit goes to WWFWrestlingGames.com and here is that interview

Question 1: How will the damage system work, will it be as in the earlier smackdown series or more like War Zone and Attitude?

Answer: It will be similar to Smackdown 2.

Question 2: What can we expect to find around the announce table area, how interactive will that be? Could we see a time keeper?

Answer: There will not be a time keeper. You can still use the tables and the Michael Cole and Tazz models are #d just like the Superstar models.

Question 3: In the press release of the game it was noted that there would in deed be a fully funcionable referee however, in the screen shots we have viewed so far we have yet to see a referee, was that function scrapped from the game?

Answer: Nope, he is just not implemented yet.

Question 4: What can you tell us about the season mode? Will it be a never ending season, like Smackdown!1 and 2 or will it have an ending point?

Answer: That is still being determined.

Question 5: Will we be seeing any blood in the Game? If so what of a first blood match?

Answer: No blood. It is an issue with Smackdown being on UPN. This is why Inferno match will not be in the Smackdown games.

Question 6: Will edit a wrestler option make it into this title? If so how in-depth will it be?

Answer: Edit and Create a Superstar will be similar to Smackdown 2.

Question 7: One huge question on everyone's mind is the WCW, will any WCW wrestlers bee in the game? Will the storylines entangle themselves in anyway?

Answer: As of now no. The WWF hasn't done much with this and as of now we only have rights to the WWF.

Question 8: What is King Of The Ring "Amazing?"

Answer: That will be translated differently. It is a King of the Ring tourney but the matches in the tourney will be matches like Hell in a Cell, TLC etc. Please don't pay attention to the menus yet, they are not finalized.

So there is going to be NO BLOOD and NO INFERNO which is a disappointment, does this doom the game as so far most things are set to copy Smackdown 2, here at The Wrestle Arena we just hope that the create a wrestler is improved, we think a lot of improvements will be made before it hits our shelves.
